I've been taking my Civic to Honest Auto Care for 2 years. They've always done a great job caring for my car and explaining the diagnostics + you'll receive a digital report with pictures of your vehicle. From my experience, they haven't been anything short of Honest and live up to their name. George and Casey have amazing customer service - both are personable, polite, and efficient with all they do. Thank you!

I've gone here multiple times for the past few years due to how close they are to my house and so far my experience has been ok to poor. Generally, they take much longer to finish working on your vehicle than they intially qoute and what they charge generally seems overpriced for the service. My worst experience is when I brought in my car, since it was making this buzzing noise. I worked at the Pizza Hut down the road at the time as a delivery driver. I had to leave work early to get it looked at. I was told the Idler pulley was squealing and that I should have the Idler pulley and the serpentine belt replaced. They repaired it, so later that day I drove back down the road to Pizza Hut to start working again. I literally didn't drive more than a mile, when I heard a loud clank. I pulled to the side of the road and stopped. I got out and found a large bolt with a large sheild/casing lying on the road behind me. I picked it up, drove back to Pizza Hut to return the delivery that I was in the middle of taking, clocked out, informed my GM of the situation (Who was obviously not happy) and drove straight back to Honest Auto. On the way there my car made this awful shrieking noise. Once I arrived, one of the mechanics walked out to me, so I showed him the bolt. He says "I'm not even sure how that came out." He drives my car into the shop and I walk inside where everyone at the desk assures me that it was just the belt making the noise and no future damage had been done to my car. After they fixed it a second time, I didn't have any future issues with it. I can also recall one other instance where I ended up being stuck at my house for the weekend due to them taking much longer than they intially quoted me to fix my car. I don't recall the details, but if I remember correctly, I brought it in Friday, they told me they would have it fixed by Saturday and I didn't end up getting it till Monday. I'm not sure if they ran into complications or they just didn't prioritize my car, but it was frustrating none the less. The final straw is recently, I brought my car in due to this burning smell. They charged me 85.30 before tax for a "Comprehensive Vehicle Inspection". They issue ended up being that some plastic had just melted on my exaust pipe from some trash that my car had picked up. I understand that they want to be compensated for their time, but Come On Guys, you charged me $ 102.42 to look at my car for less than 40 minutes. At least give me something for coming back despite having all these negative experiences. Safe to say I won't be coming back here if I can help it. The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is I acknowledge that stuff happens and I'm sure there's details I'm not aware of.
