Charlotte and Matthews Auto Repair

It was a GREAT experience. I have the honor (Area Manager---Allegiance Merchant Services, Charlotte--First Data & Elavon) consulting with and providing savings to like accounts (Honest-1 Auto Care) by processing their credit card transactions. I went to Honest-1 to get an oil change/tire rotation for my wife's 2011 Sonata. While there, it was pointed out to me she needed tires, new wiper blades, a new air filter, & front brake pads. I was not alarmed by the recommendations. Many like companies will try to up-sell you to add to their profits. Not the case here. Each item was needed. I usually purchase tires from one of my account in Albemarle, NC. When I was quoted Cooper tires for about $105 each (out the door price)...I made the purchase. Bottom line...I went for an oil change...ended up spending over $900 for needed repairs...and felt good about spending my money wisely. It was just my annual state auto inspection. But still, it is the most comfortable, clean and welcoming waiting room of any auto repair facility you can find.

A seamless and friendly experience. Reasonably priced oil change. They showed me my leaf-cluttered cabin filter, but did NOT recommend changing it for it "wasn't that bad". (Who is that honest?). And the waiting area is cleaner, quieter and more inviting than any doctor or dentist office I've visited. I took two cars in for oil change in two days. Back again Feb 2016: It was just my annual state auto inspection. But still, it is the most comfortable, clean and welcoming waiting room of any auto repair facility you can find.

went in got brakes replaced in less then 3 hrs. very clean very nice staff

Shop was clean and well run. Very pleased with the service I received. I will be back for many more visits in the future. Good and honest are adjectives rarely used when discussing repair shops but both are true of this one!
