As a female, I feel very comfortable going into Honest 1 Auto Care. Most mechanics give me the creeps, but it was really refreshing to see and speak with the women that work there. I was able to watch them work on my car as well (which makes me feel a lot better when there's so many scams out there these days). Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I only went in for an oil change, but I will definitely be back for all my car's needs.

The service here is amazing!!! They offer a shuttle service which really help me in my time of need. It's doesn't even smell like a "car shop". It's extremely clean and the environment is very inviting and relaxing. The staff is AMAZINGLY FRIENDLY!!!

Today, I took my 2011 Kia Soul to Pep Boys for a brakes' inspection because I heard a squeal a few weeks ago. The brakes haven't sqealed since. I was told I needed front brakes, rotors, and two tires coming to a total of $636.36. I was devastated. Something within me needed to get a second opinion. I was drawn to the Honest 1 location on Monroe Road in Charlotte. I entered asking about the cost of front brakes and rotors. The mechanic I spoke with asked about machining the rotors. I gave him a blank stare because I know nothing about cars. He suggested inspecting the brakes. After a brief period in the seating area with Wi-Fi and complimentary refreshments, I was told my brakes were fine. No repairs were needed. They could've simply given me a better price and taken my hard-earned money. They didn't. They were completely honest with me. (Pun intended.😊) This location has a loyal customer in me and my children, who are purchasing their own vehicles. I'm truly grateful.

Dealing with the owner and staff at Honest One has been refreshing. So often dealing with car repairs places you will get "up sold" and pressured to do work that breaks your budget and that could be done at a later time. You don't get that here. Honest One deals fairly and honestly. You will not meet a better group of people who work behind their work. Highly recommend these guys. I will be a long time customer.

The personnel I spoke with were friendly and knowledgeable. I made an appointment for an oil and filter change, using a coupon. My service was begun near the appointment time and was completed in a reasonable timeframe. The charges were exactly as stated. I will use Honest-1 again.
