I was one of the unfortunate customers who sends their vehicle in with a strange sound, and gets a phone call for a $500 repair. Later I received another phone call as they realized that there were some other issues. The new bill was over $1,500! BUT, that phone call was going to come from someone at some point soon anyway. And the estimate would have been higher I am sure. And they were very empathetic in delivering the bad news, and giving me other options. I realized that in the midst of this "bad" news, that there was one thought that never crossed my mind, that ALWAYS does when I take my car in to a mechanic. That thought has been previously, "Can I trust these people?" What a blessing to not worry about that. If you take your vehicle into Honest-1, you may get great news, or you may get bad news as I did. But isn't the thing we really want most of all is to simply know the truth? By the way, they did a great job and even went out of their way to make sure every issue had been addressed. And they saved me money in the end. Great place. Greater people.

While encountering a total engine failure in heavy traffic on Sunday afternoon, we managed to pull into the lot. Not expecting to find anyone there, imagine our surprise when the owner and a mechanic came out to see what was going on. (They were having their company Christmas party and ran a diagnostic on the vehicle right then. ) After determining what the problem was, they contacted the manufacturer to determine if it was under warranty and made arrangements to get the vehicle to the dealer for warranty repairs. Must say, what was an extremely stressful incident has been less so and Thanks to Greg and team for stopping their party to help two stranded individuals in an unknown part of Charlotte.

I Absolutely recommend Honest-1 with 100% Certainty that you will be taken care of and treated with the utmost respect from the time that you walk into their building until the time that you walk out. Their staff is exceptionally courteous and knowledgeable but what really stands out to me is the way that they can explain repairs to me on a level that I can understand. You can be assured that any diagnosis given is detailed, accurate and a truly an honest assessment. Prior to purchasing this vehicle, I brought it to Honest-1 to have the car checked over for any issues that I may need to address or consider prior to purchase and there were quite a few. After leaving their shop, I took the car to the dealer for a back-up/comparison check. After the dealer gave me their findings, I asked them to check two additional items that were not on their list but were on Honest-1’s. Within five minutes, they came back to me apologizing that they had missed it, but confirming that all items identified on Honest-1’s assessment were accurate and required repair. This is the 2nd vehicle that I have taken to Honest-1 that required a number of repairs and as with the first one, I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome and overall experience with them.

5 Stars!!! Everything about my experience with Honest 1 has been incredible. They live up to the name, that is for sure. This has been the very best experience in car care I have had.
